Time of the Salsa

I enjoy almost everything Mexican food except menudo. I have been making guacamole few several years now and love doing that, but I am tackling salsa now. This is my second batch of a fresh salsa with a slight variation with the addition of cilantro. I am not really trying to make anything unique or different, but just trying to match some of my favorite restaurant salsas (or get close).

    yellow onion
    garlic
    jalapeno
    lime juice
    cilantro
    salt & pepper
    splash of vinegar
