Andy Stanley's Enemies of the Heart Book Review

Enemies of the Heart: Breaking Free from the Four Emotions That Control You by Andy Stanley is a helpful book when it comes to the many hangups in life that many of us face.  When reading Stanley, like many of his other books, he is able to take complex and important truths and explain them in simple terms.  Personally, I enjoy listening and reading Andy Stanley material

Centered on Proverbs 4:23, "Above all else, guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life," Stanley focuses on four enemies we may face:
  • Guilt
  • Anger
  • Greed
  • Jealousy
This book is broken into four parts, addressing these enemies and than how we can begin to rely on God to overcome these issues.  I would recommend this book to anyone who may need a bit of encouragement and for those who may struggle with some of the following issue.  I know many of us struggle with them, but some more than others.  Pick you Stanley's Enemies of the Heart and be blessed.
