Mission LTX plus some...

It is amazing to watch God work all over. His presence is everywhere, you just have to be tuned in. It is hard to listen to your favorite tunes on a radio station when you do not know the frequency and there is a lack of antenna. Our focus should be on God and we should be tuned in. The student ministry at First Lockhart took church to the world. With permission from two communities in Lockhart, the students spent an hour and a half for four days with over 34 children playing games, singing songs, talking about God, and making crafts. This was a chance for our students to get outside the walls and boldly share the Good News. When we go out into our communities and give our time to God by sharing the Word, His love, and His goodness, He showers blessings on you. Three children came to our church on Wednesday night because our young people's willingness to step out of the comfort zones and share God's love. Jesus says, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19). Go out, smile and share God's love. Find out how you can help someone, encourage your brother/sister when they are down and continue to live as Christ did. If you need help ask the Lord for boldness and strength, Jesus says, "Have faith in God...I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:22,24).
