Sunday Morning Thoughts on the Word

"Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?...No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us." Romans 8:35 & 37
"Victory is ours through Christ..." Are you living in His victory today or are you wrapped up in self pity  unattainable self expectations or whatever? When we realize He is our victory, we learn that He is our identify. It is no longer Jeremy (insert name here), but Christ.

When you put on Christ, die to self and put Christ at the helm, He is doing the living; no longer you and I.  He has defeated all these things we just get to be along for the ride.  In our weakness He is strong.  Do you believe that?  If so, what are you doing with it? How are you responding to others around you? How is Christ revealed to others?

Christ should be at the forefront of ever thought, movement, word that crosses your lips; everything. The only way this is possible is to first surrender you life to Him. Turn it all over to Him. Begin to get to know Him through His word, by worshiping Him, praying to Him and fellowshipping with other believers.

"We are one in the Spirit,
we are one in the Lord,
We are one in the Spirit
we are one in the Lord,
And we pray that all unity
may one day be restored:

And they'll know we are Christians
By our love, by our love,
Yes, they'll know we are Christians
By our love."

If those around you can't see Christ, ask yourself, what's wrong? It should be evident daily.  He is the victory, nothing can stand in His way.  What will you do about it? Will you continue to live? Or will you allow Him to rule you in ever aspect of your life?

God Bless.
