God the Provider

As time passes, paying our bills get easier, but sometimes a higher utility bill and a school payment looming; stress can creep in. I am always surprised how God provides.

This afternoon I collected the mail and found our utility bill. Already previewed via email, I did not open it. I proceeded to take the rest inside, but noticed a second piece of mail from our utility company. Standing in the kitchen, I glanced at the second piece of mail and decided to open it. To my surprise it was a check. Not checking the amount, my mind determined it was an error on my part and it would be a small overpayment refund.

Fogetting we were required to pay a deposit payment, I was amazed to see a check for much more! So much more, it will take care of more than half our utility bill. Wow!

God really is concerned about the details in our lives!

Psalm 91:1-6

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord , “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday."

Dwell with Him. Acknowledge Him. And trust Him.

He asks you and I to do these things and according to Psalm 91:3-16, He takes care of us. Look it up.

Blessing.
