Number One Fan - Cassie

Last year I awarded the first ever Number One Fan award on May 23, 2008. Since that date Insert Title Here has over 5,300+ visits from 41 countries. Thanks, to all the readers.

It is that time again to announce the Number One Fan of 2009, Cassie. Cassie and her family moved to Washington a little over a year ago and through the internet and e-mail we continue to stay in contact. She is the author of PACIFIC NORTHWEST: THE SAGA BEGINS... and keeps us all up to date on what they are up to in WA state. It is exciting to read about.

Cassie and her husband, James, were my Senior year Sunday school teachers and she will never let me forget the one time I taught Sunday school, but never returned the teacher book. I am not sure exactly when I finally returned the book, but I did give it back. Cassie, thanks for reading and for investing your time in students even if they don't return your Sunday school book. Seriously, thanks.

I hope that everyone has had a blessed week.

Oh and you have an opportunity to become my number one fan in 2010...so keep reading!

God Bless

It's all about the stats Nicole...you probably don't check to see if he has updated 3 times a day :)

About the Sunday school book...as I recall you lost it, but you and Warren would come up with new and interesting places that you had looked for it every week (the tree in your back yard, inside the engine of the car when you changed your oil)...you kept me amused for many months. As Senior Sunday approached you kept asking me if I was going to be there...and I would always answer "yes, unless I'm having a baby." Well, I did in fact have Ethan on Senior Sunday so I missed it. What you told me afterward is that you had taken Tami Taylor's book after she was finished with it and you had planned (since the fall mind you) to return it to me on Senior Sunday. You didn't get to give it to me then, but you did come and see a bouncing baby Ethan in the hospital (I have pictures somewhere to prove it :)

I have enjoyed being part of your life Jeremy...and enjoyed the stories you tell...which is why I read your blog. I really wish that I could be there to welcome your bouncing baby to the world, but know that I will be one of the first to look at his picture here on Insert Title Here :)

I re-read my post and it should say that I enjoy being part of your life...present tense. Just because we are way the heck in Washington doesn't mean we're completely gone (although some days it feels like it!) Plus, I meant to say something about what a cool guy you've grown into...you have matured before my very eyes and you have a lot of insightful thoughts on God.

Okay, enough with the mushy!! Have a great Memorial Day!
