29 years seems like a long time, but really it has just flown by. My ten year reunion was this past August, Kari and I just had our second child and I haven't hit 30 yet; now that is very exciting.
I am already catching flak for almost being 30 from my wife. She smiles really big, sighs and laughs a little and proclaims, "WOW, you are about to be 30!" Thanks honey, I need the reminder.
I am very glad to be 29 years old. No, I don't feel older, but sometimes when I wake up in the morning and my body hurts, I do consider, "Am I getting older?"
